The mission of the school is to provide every student with an all-rounded Christian education, nurturing their ethical, intellectual, physical, social, aesthetic and spiritual development. We are committed to helping students not only to recognise their individual talents, but also to realise their full potentials, to better equip themselves to serve society and to glorify God.
St. Stephen's Church College was founded in 1968 by the parish of Sheng Kung Hui St. Stephen’s Church. We aim to provide young people with an all-round secondary education based on Christian principles and sound moral values.
The main concern of our school is to assist each and every student to discover his/ her individual talents and develop their potentials to the full. We seek to instil in our students a passion for life, a noble mind, high self-esteem, and a set of healthy values. Then, not only will our students excel in academic studies but will also follow the way of Christ by upholding the principles of integrity, discipline and selfless love.
We aim to foster in our students an awareness of their identity as global citizens, to respect and understand their motherland, to serve the community and to be fully responsible in their respective roles in society.
HKSKH’s Guidelines on Education Ideals
We are a Christian school that fully embraces the Anglican ethos inherited by the Hong Kong Sheng Kung Hui, which forms the basis of the curriculum design and implementation for the nurture of the next generation. We provide holistic education for our students by taking the Christian value as an essential element in the entire school curriculum. For this reason, students are required to attend all lessons, school events and educational activities provided by our schools.
